In November 2020, we invited our shareholders to help us find a suitable name for WorldPower Energy’s technology and production unit.
We received many great suggestions, all of which in their own way contributed to the naming process.
Water is a vital renewable resource and our most important nutrient. We are not only living off the water, we are living with water. It is therefore important that as many people as possible feel safe and happy, in by and on water.
Early October 2020, our own Technical Leader, Mathematician and Physicist, Gagi Peskovic, performed calculations related to Levelized Cost Of Energy (LCOE), which represents the average revenue per unit of electricity generated that would be required to recover the costs of building and operating a generating plant during an assumed financial life and duty cycle. The lower the LCOE, the more cost-effective the energy machine is.
The basis for the calculations was, of course, to compare WorldPower Energy’s own technology with today’s existing renewable energy sources.
Today, 22.nd of April, marks the international Earth Day, an annual day of events around the world in support of environmental protection. As a future producer of clean and environmentally friendly energy, environmental protection is on the agenda every day at WorldPower Energy.
At WorldPower Energy, we are constantly working on several parallel and overlapping processes. The technical department currently has a high level of engineering activity, with a focus on design and construction.
March has, not unexpectedly, also been a hectic and exciting month for WorldPower Energy. Technical department lead by Technical Manager Gagi Peskovic, Project Manager Kjell T. Bjønnes and iInventor Bendik Bø, has spent a lot of time on our production premises in Western Norway, and on Rubbestadneset with our supplier Westcon Olvondo.
Some of you already know that WorldPower Energy has relocated to a new address. With proper profiling now in place, it is a good idea to officially announce that WorldPower Energy has moved premises.
Exactly one year ago today, 18th. of February 2020, WorldPower AS was established. We can look back on an incredibly educational and exciting first year, with a progression that even our inventor and founder Bendik Bø could barely dream of. Both in terms of technological breakthroughs and the company’s development.
